Missouri Action Alert – Support HB1512
Missouri State Representative Paul Curtman has introduced HB1512, common-sense legislation that protects Missourians’ individual constitutional rights from foreign laws or legal doctrines where the application of those laws/doctrines would violate those constitutional rights. Good News: Buffett Rule Would Net $50 Billion in New Revenue Each Year. Bad News: We Spend $10 Billion a Day.
Citizens For Tax Justice has the story here. All the class warfare being perpetrated by the Obama Administration over the Buffett Rule doesn’t add up to a hill of beans, literally. It would bring in enough revenue to operate for five days. Just shows their re-election strategy is all class-warfare and no real plan to reduce the deficit.
